Summary

Kassie Espindola led three players in double figures with 14 points and added five rebounds and the White Swan Cougars used a 10-0 run over the final two minutes of the fourth quarter to pull away for the win over the Tigers.

Napavine last led 43-42 on a free throw by Lacey Morris, but the Cougars knotted the score at 43-43 before closing the game with 10 straight points.

The Tigers were paced by Ali Brossard's 22 points and nine rebounds, while Demi Sahlinger added 13 points and five boards. Miami VanPelt and Sophia Perez each finished with 10 points for the Cougars.

White Swan was the aggressor early in the game and led for the entire first quarter. But it would not stay that way in a game that featured 11 lead changes and 10 ties between the two teams.

The Cougars will play Brewster at 9:30 a.m. in the fourth place matchup.
