Summary

Becky May Taylor went for 18 points and six rebounds and after holding just a four-point lead at the break, the Bears outscored the Pirates 36-20 in the second half to pull away.

Chandler Smith and Carlee Jarell each added 14 points and combined for 18 rebounds as four Brewster players scored in double figures. Adna, led by 18 points from Taylor Hoke, kept the game close in the first half, staying with five points of Brewster.

A 7-0 run to start the third quarter for the Bears quickly balooned the lead to double figures and they would eventually lead by 20 points, 62-42 in the fourth quarter.

Brewster shot 48 percent from the floor in the second half, holding the Pirates to 20 points on 7 of 23 shooting after the break.

Dani Grosshans finished with 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for Adna, while Hanna Bayha tallied 11 points for the Bears.
