Summary

Playing the Selkirk Rangers, Friday must've felt like deja vu for the Lobos. After being held to just nine points against Columbia in their opener, the Lobos watched as the Rangers raced out to a 17-0 lead in the opening quarter. The Rangers, playing after their loss to Almira/Coulee-Hartline, took advantage of the head-start, cruising to the win.

Courtney Holter and Jaimi Adams contributed nine points apiece in the opening half, helping Selkirk take a 15-point halftime lead. Holter finished with a team-high 16 points, while Adams chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lobos got 17 points and nine rebounds from Sarah Stanley and 11 points from Eryn Dye in the loss. They shot just 28.6 percent from the floor and turned the ball over 20 times.

The Rangers, meanwhile committed just 12 turnovers and outscored Lopez 13-0 off miscues. Selkirk will get a chance to play for fourth place against Neah Bay at 8 a.m.
