Summary

Dakota Winward scored 10 of his 15 points in the third quarter and Cole Ramey's free throw with 10.4 seconds left helped secure the win for the Northwest Christian Crusaders (24-2) against the La Conner Braves (21-6) in first round action.

The Braves had the last possession to try and tie the game, but Mike Wilbur was called for traveling in the paint, trying to work his way around NWC's Jack Shannon.

Cole Ramey finished with a team-high 16 points and six assists for the Crusaders, who played the majority of the game without leading scorer Kwinn Hanson, who left in the first half after getting elbowed in the mouth. Landy James had 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting for La Conner.
