Whitewater Ski Resort is located just outside Nelson, British Columbia, with an advertised average annual snowfall of more than 40 feet. Whitewater provides skiers and snowboarders 1,184 acres of skiable terrain and a 2,044 foot vertical drop. The resort has four lifts, one surface, two double, and one triple. The runs consist of 12% beginner, 32% intermediate, 44% advanced, and 12% expert. The town of Nelson provides guests with a selection of inns, hotels, motels and guest homes as well as a variety of dining options. Whitewater is approximately three hours north of Spokane.
