Northwest Passages: Steve Gleason
Northwest Passages hosted Steve Gleason and Times-Picayune columnist Jeff Duncan talking about writing Gleason's memoir, "A Life Impossible: Living With ALS: Finding Peace and Wisdom Within a Fragile Existence." Leading the conversation will be The Spokesman-Review's Dave Boling. Gleason’s story and mission have been told countless times throughout the media. The documentary "Gleason" was heralded at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. In 2019, Gleason was awarded a Congressional Gold Medal for his contributions to ALS awareness.
