EWU Car Bash

Eastern Washington University celebrates Homecoming week with a fundraising car bashing event, Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023. Monies raised will benefit the Cheney Middle school anti-bulling program.

Eastern Washington University freshman, Summer Sedgley, 18, of Ridgefield, Wa., takes a whack with a eight-pound sledgehammer to a donated Pontiac G6 automobile during a car bash fund raiser as part of Homecoming week, Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, in Cheney, Wa. participants were given the chance to smash for $1 dollar per hit. Monies raised will benefit the Cheney Middle School anti-bulling programs. When asked what it flet like, Sedgley replied "fun."
