After 2 years of work, the newly remolded Central Library opened for patrons Monday, July 11, 2022 in downtown Spokane.

Patrols of the Central Library make use of the Social Stair area on the second floor Monday. The space can also be used for poetry reading and educational events. After two years of remolding work, the downtown library is now open.
