The remains of a Gonzaga University graduate, Paul Charvet, and Navy pilot who went missing during the Vietnam War will be brought home to his family, including his 101-year-old mother, after 50-plus years.

The remains of a Gonzaga University graduate, Paul Charvet, a Navy pilot who went missing during the Vietnam War will be brought home to his family, including his 101-year-old mother, after 50-plus years.

Charvet, a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy, was shot down over Vietnam in the 1960s and his remains were returned to his family in Alaska Wednesday, while the wreath display was set up at Gonzaga University. The university placed the wreath near a plaque on campus placed there in Charvet's memory in 1975.
