David Govedare puts the finishing touches on his "A Family Dance" sculpture in 1995 that he did for Group Health Northwest's Riverfront Medical Center, owned by Kaiser Permanente. The artwork was funded by private donations from Group Health Northwest staff and the medical community.

David Govedare and his son, Forest, spin a wheel on “Steam Plant Comet Show,” a sculpture Govedare created in 2000 for the railroad underpass near Steam Plant Square. The father and son were at the underpass for the presentation of the work, which Govedare built from pipes and wheels used when the steam plant provided steam for downtown.

David Govedare completed and installed his "Spirit of the Northwest" wall sculpture at Rogers High School, shown in 2009. Govedare was paid more than $37,000 for the sculpture made from plasma cut aluminum. Garco Construction had just finished renovations to 1932 Rogers building and planned to host an open house.
