Historic Chancery building faces demolition
The former insurance office and Spokane Catholic Diocese headquarters building at 1023 W. Riverside Avenue faces demolition as Centennial Real Estate Investments plans apartment complex on site. Architect Gustav Pehrson remodeled a 1910 brick building in Italian Renaissance revival style in 1923.
