Anthony Fuerte murder of Makayla Young trial

Anthony Fuerte was set to take a plea deal for the murder of Makayla Young Friday, but that has now been delayed.

Parents of murdered Makayla Young, Michael and Christy Young, with their daughter Emily Young, attend the plea hearing for Anthony Fuerte who was set to take a plea deal for the murder of Makayla Friday. It was delayed during court proceedings Friday in Spokane County Superior Court. Last year Makayla was found nearly decapitated at a Spokane hotel. Before her body was found, Fuerte was arrested for attempting carjacking three different women. He was then tied back to the murder after his arrest. Lionel White, who was also accused of taking part in the killing plead out to a possession charge late last year. The Young family has been very active saying they don't approve of the plea deal and want Fuerte to go to trial and have a more severe punishment.
