Family fuels dream of swing set for autistic adult
Building an adult-sized swing set isn't common, so Andria McAdams issued a plea over social media in August on behalf of her brother, Steven McAdams, 34, who has autism.

Steven McAdams takes a ride on his new and nearly finished swing set on Sept. 9 at his home in Newman Lake. McAdams, 34, has autism and lives with his sister, Andria McAdams, who also is his caretaker. The set is being built by Tim Tuttle and Ryan Schumacher of T&R Custom Woodwork.

McAdams saved his money for two years in order to have enough for what an adult-sized custom-made playset would require. The McAdams' asked the community for help in finding builders, and T&R answered the call, and has worked with Steven in order to build a set according to his wishes.
