Appleway Trail
Appleway Trail is more of a “linear park” than a traditional trail, winding through a rapidly changing Valley. Warehouses, department stores and industry dominate one side, and apartments, old Spokane Valley homes and an occasisional pasture are on the other. The city broke ground on the first section in 2014 and the last section of the trail will be complete next summer. In the coming years, it will link to Balfour Park, City Hall and Liberty Lake.
