Priest Lake marathon swim
On July 21, 2019 Ned Hastings spent 14 hours and 24 minutes swimming the length of Priest Lake. The 54-year-old from the Tri-Cities swam the 24ish miles without touching the ground or resting on any flotation device.

Per the rules of the Marathon Swimmers Federation Hastings could not touch the ground and could not rest on boats or other floating objects. However, his support team was allowed to give him food and water.
