Alpine Deli in Spokane
The Alpine Deli is going to be the first ethnic/international food market/restaurant. It's a family owned business (they bought it from another man three years ago). They are Bosnian but fled to Germany in 1992 and came to America eight years later. Esma Hatkic bakes/cooks and her son Adnan Hatkic manages the finances.

Hatkic is part of a Bosnian family that took over the Alpine Deli that for many years was a place where Spokanites could find European cheeses, sausages, candies and desserts. The new owners have added some Bosnian foods.
