Get me rewrite! Newspapers in the movies
At least in Hollywood, newspapers have never been bigger. With the release of “The Post,” starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, Editor Rob Curley on Wednesday night shared his favorite movies focused on newspaper journalism at a free forum at The Spokesman-Review. More than 150 people attended the latest Northwest Passages community forum, which featured a complete showing of the 1952 classic film, “Deadline, USA,” starring Humphrey Bogart.
