The eighth-ranked Zags relied on depth and balance to turn back Tennessee’s spirited second-half comeback in an 86-76 victory Sunday before 13,784 mostly orange-clad fans at Bridgestone Arena.
So the Gonzaga Bulldogs are 11-0 now, though if you aimed your binoculars on the “0” Sunday afternoon you could scout a regiment of sweat beads marshaling along the brow.
