Hudson River plane crash
A US Airways Airbus 320 plane has crashed into the Hudson River shortly after takeoff from New York's LaGuardia Airport. All of the passengers escaped safely. A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman says the plane may have been hit by birds.
