Work experience: Organizes a flea market in Sunnyside and advises small businesses. Served in the Army National Guard from 1995-2003 and on active duty from 2003-08. Worked for 10 years as a U.S. Department of Agriculture loan underwriter.

Political experience: Ran unsuccessfully for Congress in Washington’s 4th Congressional District in 2022, receiving 1.4% of votes in the primary.

Family: Married. Has two adult children and nine grandchildren.
