Education: Berkeley Preparatory School 1997 in Tampa, Florida. Earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in 2001. Graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 2005.
Work Experience: Criminal defense work at a local law firm from 2005-2008. Opened Polin Law office in 2008. Received the sexually violent predator state contract in 2012. Largely did civil commitment work until the practice closed in 2022 when Polin was appointed to the Superior Court bench. Currently serves as presiding family law judge.
Political Experience: Appointed by Gov. Jay Inslee to the Spokane County Superior Court bench in 2022. Ran unopposed in 2023.
Family: Married to deputy prosecutor, George Gagnon. Has three children.
Campaign finance: Raised more than 68,000 as of Oct. 1, according to the state Public Disclosure Commission. Contributions include more than $30,000 from herself. Donors include Spokane County Superior Court Judges Tony Hazel, Annette Plese, Shelly Szambelan and Charnelle Bjelkengren, and retired judges Ellen Kalama-Clark and Michael Price.
