Richard Price

Education: Earned bachelor’s of science degree from Iowa State University in 1971.

Work experience: Retired. Engineer and manager for Stevens County Public Utility District, with 33 years of experience. Production Manager for Prestress Concrete Company from 1973 to 1976. Previously on board of Tri-County Christian Center and Deer Park School District building committee. Church ministry speaker for Gideons. Former U.S. Army captain with active duty in Germany from 1971-1973 and six additional years in Army Reserves.

Political experience: Has served as a precinct committee officer for the Republican Party.

Family: Married to Penny Price and has two children. Both attended Deer Park School District.

Eric J. Keller

Education: Graduated from Deer Park High School in 1988. Earned bachelor’s degree in forest resource management from the University of Idaho in 1994.

Work experience: Has worked in forestry for about 30 years. Presently the forest practices district manager for Washington Department of Natural Resources since 2017. Has performed various volunteer coaching activities since 2006. Currently raising lambs to be shown and sold to kids at fairs in the area.

Political Experience: Won current Deer Park School Board seat in 2007 and has been re-elected every four years since.

Family: Married to Debby Keller and has four children, all of whom went to Deer Park School District.

Shauneen Flugel

Education: Graduated from Deer Park High School. Earned dental assistant degree from Spokane Community College.

Work experience: Served as a parent-teacher organization president and member of PTO board for five years. Has seven years’ experience in volunteer work, including leading youth activities and fundraising.

Political experience: First run for office.

Family: Married and has four children.

Meegan Ware

Education: Graduated from Riverside High School in 1989 and North Idaho College in 1992 with associate degree in small business management.

Work experience: Served in various roles, including para-ed substitute for Deer Park School District. Former assistant director of Spa Paradiso. Formerly worked as a baker and bookkeeper. Volunteered in various parent-teacher organization in schools throughout the district from 2010 to 2019. Serves as president of Elk Homemakers. Girl Scout leader since 2012. Board member and superintendent of textiles for Clayton fair. Member of the FFA Boosters.

Political experience: Member of the Stevens County Republican Women’s club.

Family: Married to James Ware. Has three children, with one graduated from Deer Park High School and two in the district.

Samantha Jordan

Education: Graduated from Deer High School in 2010.

Work experience: Real estate agent with three years of experience. Worked as a decorator at a bakery from 2014-2017.

Political experience: First run for office.

Family: Married to Seth Jordan and has one child in the district, as well as two children too young to attend.
