Work experience: Has spent much of her career in hospice. Currently works as an aging specialist for Angel Senior Care. Has previously run assisted living and memory care facilities. Former executive director of Pegasus Senior Living and Rose Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care, according to her LinkedIn, although during an interview declined to name the companies. Worked in an ophthalmology office. Has served on the Senior Action Network of Eastern Washington's board.
Family: Husband is Scott Buettner. Has three boys.
Fundraising: Has raised more than $23,300 as of Sept. 26. Notable donors include Spokane Valley Mayor Pam Haley, former Spokane County GOP Chairwoman Cindy Zapotocky, Spokane Valley City Councilwoman Laura Padden, state Sen. Mike Padden (R-Spokane Valley) and Gloria Higgins, wife of Spokane Valley City Councilman Rod Higgins.
