Campaign contributions: Raised $25,100 as of Oct. 13. Contributors include the Washington Education Association ($2,000), Washington State Democrats ($1,947), Spokane Regional Labor Council ($500), Spokane City Councilwoman Betsy Wilkerson ($250).

Education: Graduated from Shorewood High School in Shoreline, Washington. Earned bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Washington, master's in Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary and doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Theory from Gonzaga University.

Work experience: Currently a financial planner at D.A. Davidson. Served as a youth pastor in Portland, in Bremerton and at First Presbyterian Church in Spokane. Adjunct professor in student development at Gonzaga and Eastern Washington universities.
Family: Married. Two children.
