Education: Graduated from Connell High School. Earned bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Washington University with an emphasis in management information systems.

Political experience: Has served on Cheney School Board since 2003.

Work experience: Six years with IBM in marketing to K-12 schools, four years in property management, nine years as a stay-at-home mother, four years in low-income apartment property management, seven years and counting with Eastern Washington University in registration.

Family: Married; has three children.

Final thoughts: “We have an incredible staff, an incredible team that has supported us and only grown. … I think there is strength in unity, and so we need to just get through this year, come together and do what we do best, and that’s teaching our kids and supporting them to graduation.”
