Erin Georgen

Education: Graduated from Mt. Spokane High School in 2000. Attended the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences until 2001 for physical therapy technician training. Earned an associate degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Portland in 2014.
Political experience: Elected to be a Democratic precinct committee officer in the 3rd Legislative District in 2018.
Work experience: Currently works as a part-time, on-call physical therapy assistant for St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute while running her own graphic design and digital communications business. Has worked as a physical therapy assistant for the U.S. Coast Guard and as a civilian for a combined 15 years. Served in the Coast Guard for four years on active duty and four years in the reserves. Helped start the grassroots organization Whole Washington to draft an initiative for statewide universal health care in 2018.
Family: Not married. Has one child at Holmes Elementary School.
Kevin Morrison

Education: Graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1975. Graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and organizational leadership.
Political experience: None
Work experience: Currently retired. Until the end of June he was the Spokane Public Schools interim director of safety, risk management and transportation, after working as director of community relations and communications from 2013 to 2018. He worked in the SPS capital projects department from 2003-13 managing bond projects.
Family: Married to Carol Morrison. They have one daughter.
William (Bill) Baxley

Education: Graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School in 1972. Graduated from the University of Washington in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Earned his bachelor’s degree in education and teaching certificate from the University of Washington in 1977.
Political experience: None
Work experience: Currently retired. Has been on the substitute list for Educational Service District 101 since 2015 and occasionally works in juvenile detention schools. Before that, he worked for the Los Angeles County Office of Education for 15 years. He started his career in education with Clinics Incorporated, where he helped high school dropouts earn their GEDs in Tacoma and Everett from 1979-84.
Family: Married to Michelle Baxley. They have two grown children.

Debate was October 3, 2019 and held at OverBluff Cellars’ tasting room at the Washington Cracker Building in Spokane.
