Education: Graduated from Riverside High School in Chattaroy in 1996. Earned a technical degree from the Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix in 1998. Attended Washington State University taking classes in criminal justice but did not receive a degree.

Political experience: Planned to run for Legislative District 7 this year, but dropped out for personal reasons.

Work experience: Currently works as a bus servicer for Spokane Transit. Has previously worked as a corrections officer in the Whitman County Jail in Colfax and as a firefighter and EMT in Garfield.

Family: Married. Has three stepchildren (all three of whom have attended or are attending schools in the Riverside School District).
