Work experience: Served in the Air Force for 13 years. Owns the Coffee Corner on Fairchild Air Force Base.

Political experience: Has served on Airway Heights City Council since 2015.

Family: Single. Has two children.

His words: “I wanted to give back more than just my time as a firefighter.”

His Pitch: Support city’s EMS levy, which also is on the ballot. Says the growing city needs more police and fire resources, but believes the city must explore all options before raising taxes beyond the EMS proposal. Supports the proposed Spokane Tribe development that includes a casino. Supported resignation of former Mayor Patrick Rushing.

Notable experience: Appointed to city council in 2014. Has served as a volunteer firefighter for about 10 years, including three years for Airway Heights.

Education: Graduated from Decatur High School in Federal Way, Washington in 2005. Working toward associate’s degree from Spokane Falls Community College.
