Douglas Arnold, 46, works in a U.S. Bank call center in Coeur d’Alene. He has served on the Latah council since he was appointed to the position in July 2012, but is now running for mayor. The issue of mosquito fogging is settled for now, but Arnold said he is sure it will come up again in the spring. The town has been unsettled lately and there have been hurt feelings, Arnold said. He would like to restore the community to what it was before and have resident feel confident in their local government.
