His Pitch: Lists his top priority as making sure firefighters have proper training and the equipment the need. Says he has a lot of life experience and understands finances and how to write grants from his long career in the utility industry.
Notable experience: Drives bus for Reardan-Edwall School District. Part of his duties during his 22-year career for Montana Power in Colstrip, Montana was as a firefighter. Worked for Avista Utilities as an energy broker for 14 years. Served in U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1974, including 18 months in Vietnam.
Education: Graduated from Billings High School in Montana in 1972. Earned power plant technology degree from Miles City Community College in Montana.
