The Vox Box

What’s hitting the shelves next week?…

Since we're all such smart cookies here at the VOX, I thought it would be of interest to periodically post some bright-n-shiny upcoming publishing dates! (I just know we've got some Barnes & Noble nerds here...) Plus, a lil' added bonus, there's a link giving more info about the book AND some comments in the 'Rest of the Entry'. *whooo!* Enjoy!

Coming December 1:

Feature #1!: Bobbi Brown's Makeup Manual By Bobbi Brown. (Springboard)
Here's a Hachette Book Group Review.

Hitting the stores December 2:

Feature #2: The Charlemagne Pursuit By: Steve Berry. (Ballantine)
See more of this author's work at his website: steveberry.org.

Feature #3!: Hooking Up with Tila Tequila: A Guide to Love, Happiness, Success, and Being the Life of the Party By Tila Tequila herself... (Scribner)
Head here to popcrunch.com for a little blog-action about this book...

Any interest found in these titles? Any requests or genres of interest for next weeks post??

In 2006, then-editor Steve Smith of The Spokesman-Review had the idea of starting a publication for an often forgotten audience: teenagers. The Vox Box was a continuation of the Vox, an all-student staffed newspaper published by The Spokesman-Review. High school student journalists who staffed the Vox made all content decisions as they learn about the trade of journalism. This blog's mission was to give students an opportunity to publish their voices. The Vox Box and the Vox wrapped up in June 2009, but you can follow former staffers' new blog at http://voxxiez.blogspot.com.
