The Vox Box

Oh how hard they fall…

Here is our shallow post of the day...
As we previously discussed, People magazine announced their latest candidate for "Sexiest Man Alive..." Hugh Jackman.

In celebration of the annual event, MSN news has a "Sunken Dreamboats" slideshow, highlighting previous winners then and now... Gulp... And a few other pretty-boys who just haven't aged well.

It's good for a self-righteous laugh, anyway. My personal favorite:

Nick Nolte. Yikes!

And this gem:

Poor Mickey... I guess when he became a boxer he let too many people mush his face up.

QUESTION: Who is the sexiest man alive?

In 2006, then-editor Steve Smith of The Spokesman-Review had the idea of starting a publication for an often forgotten audience: teenagers. The Vox Box was a continuation of the Vox, an all-student staffed newspaper published by The Spokesman-Review. High school student journalists who staffed the Vox made all content decisions as they learn about the trade of journalism. This blog's mission was to give students an opportunity to publish their voices. The Vox Box and the Vox wrapped up in June 2009, but you can follow former staffers' new blog at http://voxxiez.blogspot.com.
