Master Meat Crafters advance to national competition
Shantell Putnam and Tyler Lauzon are the regional winners of the 2016 Master Meat Crafter competition.
The Arby’s contest is open to all 79,000 team members. Putnam and Lauzon work at Arby’s No. 603 at 6316 N. Division St. in Spokane.
They’ll advance move to the final competition Sept. 13 at Arby’s Worldwide Franchise Convention in Orlando.
For the Master Meat Crafter contest, they prepared one order of the following menu items: Market Fresh Turkey Ranch and Bacon, Smokehouse Brisket, Gyro and Classic Roast Beef Sandwich.
They were evaluated on craftsmanship, teamwork, Arby’s clean-as-you-go policy, urgency and knowledge while preparing the sandwiches.
