Audrey Alfaro has been competing on Food Network’s new “Halloween Baking Championship” show.

She’s one of seven bakers vying a $25,000 grand prize.

There are two shows and five contestants left.

According to her bio at www.foodnetwork.com, Alfaro, 35, is a self-taught baker who grew up in Alaska. “Audrey and her 4-year-old daughter, Sophie, go all out every year for Halloween, wearing costumes and baking treats for Sophie’s school,” the website says.

Her husband is a hockey coach for the Spokane Chiefs.

The four-episode show is hosted by Richard Blais and judged by Carla Hall, Ron Ben-Israel and Sherry Ward. It premiered Oct. 5 and airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Food Network through Oct. 26.
