Too Many Cooks

Pig Out in the Park

Spokane’s 36th annual outdoor food festival starts Wednesday.

The event features 45 food booths, three adult beverage gardens and live music on three stages.

Small bites for $3 per sample are available from 3 to 5 p.m. and 9 to 10 p.m. daily. Admission is free.

Look for menu items such as elk burgers, gyros, crepes, empanadas, egg rolls, ice cream, pizza clam chowder, chicken korma, funnel cakes and burritos.

Pig Out runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Monday in downtown Spokane's Riverfront Park.

On the Web: www.spokanepigout.com.

This is the link you really want, though.  It takes you right to the list of food vendors and menu items, so you can plan accordingly.

Bon appétit!
