The Tech Deck

File your Playstation settlement, get your account closed or 2 cheap games!

If you had a Playstation account prior to May 15, 2011, you're eligible to participate in their class action settlement for the April 2011 data breach (aka, the first in a large string of times that Sony was hacked.) Fill out yer form!

The settlement terms are a bit... shall we say... weaksauce?

You essentially have two options: If you stopped using your account and had money in it, they'll refund you and close your account for all eternity. Otherwise, you can get a handful of old games you could get for $3.00 at Gamestop (inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, etc.) or a free three month PSN subscription.

LittleBigPlanet, published in 2008!, is still a rad game.

I suppose I shouldn't complain, it is free stuff. At least it's better than the $0.03 check I got from (I think?) Digital Ocean a while back.
