Morning links: WSU football resumes regular schedule

The bye week is over and the Cougars have a game this weekend at California.

That means Washington State will hold its regular Monday press conference today after taking a break last week. We will have our usual coverage of that here on the blog this afternoon, as well as news, notes and quotes from WSU's men's basketball media day, which is happening shortly after the football interviews conclude.

So there will be plenty to read on the blog this afternoon and evening. In the meantime, here are some links:

-- I joined Brian Anderson at CougCenter to reflect on WSU's first three games.

-- PJ Kendall wrote extensively about the possibility of getting ESPN College GameDay to broadcast in Pullman.

-- Oregon is unranked for the first time since 2009.

-- Meanwhile, Utah is suddenly the toast of the town and ranked No. 10.

-- Kyle Bonagura projects the Utes will play in the Rose Bowl.

-- UCLA sure looks like a playoff contender.

-- Some Arizona State fan is probably feeling a bit sheepish after talking trash to the Trojans.
