Morning links: Cougars, Falk return to practice field

The Cougars have a short week of practice coming up, because they travel to New Jersey on Thursday. On Sunday, they returned to the practice field.

We have a story in today's paper about the crossroads the Washington State football team faces, and on the blog we have a report from last night's practice. The New York Times wrote about the current crisis at Rutgers, a 5.5-point favorite in the upcoming matchup. Stefanie Loh followed Saturday's loss with a day-after story as well. PJ Kendall at CougCenter wrote about the game as well.

-- Johnny Jackson switched back to wide receiver and the results speak for themselves.

-- UCLA's Josh Rosen has played one week of college football and won one Offensive Player of the Week award.

-- USC could use another tune-up. Good thing Idaho is coming to town.

-- A few Huskies are getting unexpected shots in the NFL.
