Morning links: WSU hosts No. 13 Bulldogs
The Washington State men's basketball team faces its biggest test, maybe of the entire season, at 8 p.m. tonight.
At 8 p.m. the Cougars will host No. 13 Gonzaga in a game that will be a sellout or close to it. Tonight's game will be the 150th meeting between the two programs, who probably won't play each other again for at least a little while. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
In the paper today I have a story setting the table for the game, as well as an article about the various honors bestowed on the WSU football team by the Pac-12 yesterday. Sandy Ringer of the Seattle Times has a report about Mike Leach visiting one of the country's top high school quarterbacks. Stefanie Loh grades the Cougars season.
Programming note: I'll still be holding my weekly WSU chat at 11 a.m. on the blog today.
