Game Notes: WSU vs. Portland State

Washington State has released the game notes and depth chart for its upcoming season-opener against Portland State.

The depth chart is basically what we've been reporting throughout the preseason, but it does confirm that freshman Darrien Molton will start at cornerback. Also, it appears that Ivan McLennan and Kache Palacio are co-starters at rush linebacker, which also correlates with what we've seen in practice.

Freshmen Hunter Dale and Tavares Martin are also in the two-deeps. Freshman Zach Charme will punt, Erik Powell will kick. Kyrin Priester will return kickoffs, Martin will return punts and walk-on receiver Kaleb Fossum is the new holder. Gerard Wicks is the starter at running back with Keith Harrington and Jamal Morrow splitting the backup role.
