Wednesday morning Pac-12 links

From Pullman -- Things are starting to pick up in Pullman. Tomorrow will be the first day of Washington State's spring football practices, and on Friday we'll have a live chat at noon. In today's paper we take a look at five important position battles to watch this spring, and we also had a blog post on the topic. Cougcenter has a breakdown of WSU's football scholarships by class. The Daily Evergreen has a preview as well.

UCLA hasn't played Florida, yet, but they've played Arizona ... spring practices are underway at USC under new coach Steve Sarkisian ... ESPN's Kevin Gemmell says the Cougars have the fourth best "three-headed monster" in the Pac-12 North next season.
