Cameras will beam Indians players to Texas
The Northwest League opener is still eight days away, but plenty of activity has begun at Avista Stadium for another season of Spokane Indians baseball. One change this year is the installation of five high-definition cameras that will allow the parent-club Texas Rangers to follow every pitch and swing of the bat in Spokane. Dustin Toms, the Indians' director of public relations, offered a glimpse at the cameras Thursday while workers of all kinds got ready for the opener, June 13 at Avista against Eugene. Read story
