FROM PULLMAN -- To nobody's surprise, Washington State cornerback Damante Horton was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week after his two interceptions in WSU's 10-7 upset of Southern California.
Horton scored WSU's only touchdown on a 70-yard interception return late in the first half, then made the pick that ultimately helped seal the game in the final minutes.
Athlon Sports also named Horton its National Defensive Player of the Week.
Horton spoke with reporters earlier this afternoon, and we'll have more on that later.
