Former Chiefs prospect opts for college
Rhett Gardner, the Spokane Chiefs' second-round selection in the 2011 Bantam Draft, has decided to play hockey at the University of North Dakota and not play for the Brandon Wheat Kings. The Chiefs traded Gardner, Marek Kalus and two draft picks to Brandon two weeks ago for 19-year-old forward Alessio Bertaggia. Read more
