Hurd a basketball goodwill ambassador
Remember Louis Hurd? He played two years for Terry Reed at Lewis and Clark and credits him for teaching life and basketball lessons. But Hurd wound up transferring to North Central where he was second-leading scorer for the Indians with a 14.4 scoring average before graduating in 2005 (a year before NC placed fifth in state). He went on to play for another ex-Tigers coach in junior college and is completing his career in college at British Columbia. The Langley Times did a nice piece on him that I'm passing along here.
