Cal pulls away late to stop WSU
COUGARS
There was just too much Patrick Christopher. The reigning Pac-10 player of the week looked like he wants to win the award two consecutive times Thursday. Not only did he finish with 22 points, but he stuck dagger after dagger into the Cougar second-half hopes, hitting just about every shot Cal need in their 57-50 road victory - including a back-door dunk with 1:30 left that sealed it. The Bears stay atop the Pac-10 with the hard-earned win. We'll be back in about 90 minutes with the game story.
