Tampa Bay joins arena league
The new arena football league will have three teams from Florida. Tampa Bay is set to become the 15th franchise. Orlando and Jacksonville have already joined. There's been no formal announcement on the membership from the league office, but it sounds as if 15 might be the number for the 2010 season.

Also, Charles Frederick, a standout on the Spokane Shock's 2006 ArenaCup championship squad, has signed with Jacksonville. It's been rumored that the Sharks' offensive coordinator will be Chris Siegfried, who coached Spokane to the '06 title and coached Frederick with the Kansas City Brigade of the AFL.
