Seahawks out of here
The Seahawks left Cheney – it's a good thing, really, because the Cheney police risk carpal tunnel every year with all the tickets they write – and Dave Trimmer caught up with Julian Peterson after the final practice. It's obvious Peterson is new to the squad, as he actually stopped to talk on the way out of town. Most guys are going so fast when that last practice is over, there are those little cartoon jet trails behind them.
Of course, every newspaper on the West Side had its version of the dash for Seattle story, but a couple stand out. For fun, read Clare Farnsworth's piece in the P-I. For the best analysis, check out Scott Johnson's story in the Everett Herald.
