The big talker on tonight's City Council agenda will no doubt be the introduction of the draft comprehensive plan for Spokane Valley. 

Also on the agenda is a formal recognition of Fourth Legislative District Legislators Senator Mike Padden, Rep. Matt Shea and Rep. Bob McCaslin.

And here's a traffic update for Spokane Valley commuters: Northbound McDonald Road between Sprague and Mission Avenues is reduced to one lane of traffic until the end of September. Sings and flaggers attempt to move traffic through as quickly as possible, but you may want to pick another route for the rest of the month.
