Trans Pacific Partnership hearing at Spokane Valley City Council
The Spokane Valley City Council is hosting a hearing on the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement tonight. Staff has prepared a brief presentation at the request of the city council. As this is a public hearing, public testimony on the agreement will be allowed but the agenda specifies that each person will only be allowed to speak once.
Also on the agenda tonight: Water District 3 is abandoning its well in Browns Park because the city refuses to grant the district an easement.
A presentation on traffic concerns at Eighth and McDonald Road, where neighbors say speeding cars don't obey a stop sign on Eighth resulting in too many near misses on McDonald.
And updates to the Governance Manual.
